A bit late here but I agree that Crestview has to be the favorite to win the title.......But I can't help but wonder how good of a coach Cusick is. When is the last time he won a game without a Hill kid on the team? It's not as if they are just on the team, they are the team. They seem to own almost all of the records for that team, and this year continues to be more of the same. There has been a Hill on that team for 6 years and they have been awesome for 6 years. Makes me wonder......good coaching...........or good genes? 2000,2001,2004,2005,2008,2009 All years as league champs. To say that he is just winning with talent is a real joke. Name me 1 team in the league that a Hill would not be the feature player on.

One of the strengths about SR over the years is that they have done everything to ensure there wouldn't be a feature player on the team. And it has served them well, no? SR has had several running backs (horses) over the years that - if ridden hard - could easily have been 1000 yard rushers. Maybe there were other reasons, injuries, etc. that these kids weren't used more heavily, I don't know, but it IS the Teams MO to use all the weapons available and not just the big bombs in another wrapping. This year's TEAM is no different... hard to defend 'cause you just don't know! Good luck Raiders for an awesome 2nd half of the season and your quest to the ICTL Title!

Carter Hill has been a great QB after Jordan Reynolds and Tony Britton, both of whom were great QBs as well. Corey Hill was a great RB, and he came after Crestview had players like David Myers, Adam Thompson, and Keith Drewnoski all rush for 1000+ yards. And that's only two positions on the field. Cusick is clearly an excellent coach as he plugs good players into the already good system. No question both of the Hill boys are great, great players but it isn't like they're the whole team. Also, his best team (2005) did not have a letterwinner with the name Hill.

I agree Crestview always finds a replacement for key people that graduate. Columbiana and Range are the same. Someone had posted earlier about these teams not relying to heavily on any one individual. I suspect if Coppick is the QB next year he will be every bit as effective as Carter Hill. They are the end result of a good system and a cohesive staff that probably goes all the way back to thier youth programs. Hopefully United can get back to that same approach that made thier program so succesful in the 70's, 80's, and 90's.
