One thing I noticed, why is United included in the Red Tier instead of Columbiana? Columbiana is more geographically located for the Red Tier. United should be in the White for the same reason.
Enrollment wise, the Red is top heavy with East Palestine and United.
And who said awhile ago the league wasn't interested in expansion?
With the proposed set up, looks like you might see Beaver Local and Salem in the Red Tier?
Any opinions?

Actually Bulldog the league still is not really pursuing expansion. They are trying to make this work with the same 16 schools, but they realize that it may become difficult with the odd number of schools in two of it's tiers. The league was forced to counter a mass exodus of members that were looking to merge with another league in NE Ohio. Prior to that threat, the ITCL had no plans for expansion, and unfortunately it still is hesitant despite the odd arraignment it is now adopting.
Although Salem, West Branch, and Beaver Local may fit geographically in the new red tier, we have heard it repeated a few times that they don't like having a school that will average 100 more students in enrollment joining the league. That itself may be hogwash.
Lastly, the schedules are more than hogwash. They are going to be a nightmare for AD's to keep track of, let alone the fans who will have no idea who their school plays every 2 years as the schools shift schedules and cross-over opponents. One coach has told us that additional changes may be coming to add even more confusion in the future schedules. Without expansion the league may struggle to keep this all straight.

POINT being, they were all OK with the original merger and two tiers. Now a few want to leave. WELL, let them leave. Take what's left and make a new league. Expansion is the only way to save this fiasco. Either add 2 of the 3 schools you mentioned into the Red and let whoever does not want in that tier, move down. Let the ones in Mahoning and Trumbull who want out leave for the "other" league. Face the facts, this was a good league until the travel complaints started. Reminds me horribly of the old TCL back in the mid 70's when EP was a monster sized school compared to the rest of the league, they split into two tiers and the "big" tier folded after two seasons. What happens if United, EP and C-view move to D4? I see this all becoming the final act of the league as it is today, would not surprise me to see the old TCL/ICL leagues resurrected in some form. Just my opinion.

The league isn't interested in adding new schools with enrollment of 100 more? That is fine, but remember, United, C-view and EP are 100 over a few member schools at this moment and those 100 over schools schedule the three and D7 Ridge! Doesn't matter, does it?

The complaint continues. The league forcing D5 to play D7. OOL scheduling to keep rivalries like Columbiana. All because of a few crybabies who wanted out. United needs moved to the White with Lisbon since they are now D6. Move Columbiana to the RED due to close proximity to the other RED Tier members, keep the rivalries without making them OOL!!!!UGH!!!!!!!!!
