Right now, argueably the best ITCL rivalries would be: Crestview-South Range McDonald-Mineral Ridge
Some other good ones: Leetonia-Lisbon Leetonia-Columbiana Wellsville-Southern Jackson-Milton-Western Reserve Springfield-Lowellville Springfield-South Range East Palestine-Columbiana Columbiana-Crestview Lisbon-United

There is a new rivalry beginning in the itcl from Lowellville. Lowellville-Western Reserve is now a rivalry game when the sophomore class become seniors. and there is a story behind this. i am sure many of you know how our Jr. High went 7-0 two years ago. well going into week four we had to play Western Reserve who was also undeafeated after losing our star Linebacker. so when the game finally came around there was supposed to be a 7th grade game after the 8th grade game. the couch from reserve came up to Coach Polumbo and said I know there was supposed to be a second game but we wont need one because we will be up enough to put them in. well we won and we will never let them live it down.

i am a sophmore at lowellville, nd i have to bakc uprblowellvillecb when he says lowellville is starting to form a little rivalry against WR. but i say it goies back a little farther then 8th grade. our class started with them in peewees. it was our 6th grade yearand we had lost one gamegoing into the WR game at lowellville(reserve was undefeated at the time) well it was scorless until the final 6 secs. of the game when lowellville connected on a td pass. that won the game, a few weeks later we saw wr again this time in the peewee championship. lowellville beat western reserve in a brutal game. if i remember correctly wr only had 2 losses that yr both to lowellville. so in my mind that is when the games started to get a little heated

No not everyone hates Ep, it is just something that is because of the locality of the teams...backyard rivalries..... It goes back several decades when Ep was a small AAA school.....and Columbiana was the only one of the three that played us....

Columbiana and Ep has always been a huge rivalry, however, Crestview and Ep, Springfield and Ep are huge also. I knew I would forget one. The Springfield-East Palestine game is yet another great ITCL rivalry. The two even were the FOX "Game of the Week" back in either 2001 or 2002. Perhaps Bulldog1974 can verify that.

EP and Columbiana have been playing since 1916 Yes they have, but the rivalry has lost a lot. Not like it was, no where near. In my time, late 60's, Ep was then what would be a D3 (AAA) and Columbiana was a small AA school (large D5). It was nothing to see red and white stuff hanging in town, and likewise, brown and white hanging in Columbiana....those were the old days....and fun too.... Seems our biggest is now: SR, SL and Crestview..Columbiana is a rival, but not like it use to be. Times change....

Top 4 (IMO) for the Raiders: Crestview vs South Range Springfield vs South Range Mineral Ridge vs South Range Columbiana vs South Range You might be too young to remember raiderqb, but the 1993 game I believe, was one of the best between Springfield and South Range. Last game of the year with ICL and a playoff spot on the line. Springfield scored a late touchdown to win by something like 24-22. Certainly was one of the best atmospheres and games I've had the pleasure of witnessing.

Web Page, I was actually a ballboy at that game. That loss knocked the Raiders out of what was then a four team state playoff. That Raider team was l-o-a-d-e-d with D1 recruits Toy and Kouhler (sp). It was widely speculated that if it was not for that loss the Raiders might have been state champs. arguably one of the greatest SR teams ever!

As far as the biggest game goes, South Range vs Crestview is hands down the winner. The last four years running they've been the two best teams in either league/tier. It'll probably be more of the same this year.
