These teams have had some classic battles in the past, with games decided at the end. However, more recently it has been Crestview dominating the Raiders. Can the Raiders pull out an upset at Home? (I remember the year SR went 2-8, the Score between these two was still a close 31-28 Crestview win). Good luck to both Teams, play hard, and stay healthy!

I think Crestview has too much speed as long as the line blocks this week. Its always a good game between these 2 teams South Range is always a well prepared team. Lets hope everybody plays well with no injuries going into the playoffs. Good luck to both teams.
Columbiana wins by at least by 20 over Springfield, Springfield is riddled with injuries
Palestine plays a much improved Lisbon team it should be a great game, very evenly matched teams I think its a toss up

SR had problems with Campbell Memorial, also a team with speed. So unless they find the ability to contain that speed it could be a runaway game for the View. But on the other hand if SR is able to execute their game plan to a "T", and gets the turnover advantage, then it could be a very close game.
I agree w/ Columbiana rolling... and EP getting a win at home against Lisbon. United and MR should be a good game too. Good luck to all the boys - play hard, and NO injuries!

Predictions on the game from Drew Pasteur and Calpreps:
Drew Pasteur: CRESTVIEW: Week 9: A vs #367 South Range (North Lima) (4-4, D5 R17) 86% W (17 pts)
CalPreps: Crestview (Columbiana, OH) 40, South Range (Canfield, OH) 14
84grad, you mentioned the game in 2009 when SR finished 2-8, but played Crestview close....I will point out that that was the year that EP had a really good team and the Rebels played them the week before, and were emotionally drained. That being said, SR has played better recently, but I still think CR wins convincingly.

True... I had forgotten about how BIG and emotional of a game ithat was in '09 between Crestview and EP. It does explain somewhat the score that year. This Friday, SR could make this an interesting game early, but I don't think they'll be able to sustain the level of play needed for 4 quarters. But Good Luck Raiders - prove me and most everyone wrong ;-)

Congrats to the Rebels, they took no chances and got out to an early lead then held on. Trickery, turnovers, injuries... this game had a bit of everything. If SR didn't have a couple mental mistakes early, and got the TD instead of turning the ball over in the endzone, perhaps we have a much closer ball game.
How about those Springfield Tigers...?
