Crestview has done well recently vs the WCAL and has also won four first round games in a row. The kids at Crestview have been to the playoffs before and so has the staff. I expect the Rebels to win comfortably.

I agree justafan, I don't think Norwayne or the entire WCAL is up to par as they were when Smithville and Dalton were in battle for the league. Not taking anything away from the Bobcats, but they are a little young and may get a little wide-eyed at the playoff atmosphere.

Did not expect Norwayne to beat the Rebels, especially at the Farm.

My guess is that not many ITCL-faithful thought Crestview would lose this game. Did the Crestview players take Norwayne lightly, or, were they that good?

What is more disturbing is possibly the fact of the league as a whole wasn't as good as we thought it was. The three Upper teams went by the wayside and Lower Tier Southern got shown the exit. Granted the Range game wasn't fair. I just thought C-view would have made it to week 12.

Upper Tier was not that bad. United and South Range both had tough opponents. Crestview just did not play well. I was shocked when I heard they lost. When you get three teams into an 8 team region, you are doing pretty well. Also, keep in mind that Mineral Ridge and Springfield both beat a McDonald team that is still playing. I certainly do not think the league was unbeleivable like they were in 2004, 2005, and 2006 but I also do not think it was that bad. Crestview was just miles ahead of everyone else in the league which made it seem poor... and the Rebels unfortunately laid an egg Saturday night.
