Should be a good game if Ridge plays well. Ridge is looking for a share of the ITCL title, and a playoff berth. Crestview is looking to win the League outright. Any Thoughts?

Ridge has, for whatever reason, given Crestview fits. They are the only team with a winning record vs Crestview in ITCL play I believe.
In league play the Rebels have been absolutely dominant. By looking at the spreadsheet(nicely done by the way) in league games, Crestview has scored 270 points and given up just 53. Tht's ridiculous. Mineral Ridge gave up a lot of points to three teams Crestview handcuffed pretty well in Columbiana, South Range, and United.
I would not be super surprised if Mineral Ridge won because Crestview has not played a close, tight game in a while so it is tough to say how they would or will react. Each week is different. And Mineral Ridge is pretty good. But I have a hard time believing Ridge will be able to keep Crestview from putting up at least 30 something. And I also have a hard time believing Mineral Ridge will be able to win a game in which Crestview does get to the 30s simply because of how good Crestview's defense has been vs comparable opponents.

I agree that this has the makings of a great game. I think Skiba, like always will be the key for the Rams. If he plays big like he has nearly every week this year, the Rams will be in it till the end. Im looking at a shootout in this one in the 30s at least. Im gonna say Skiba will continue to impress and the Rams will win 41-35.

What are everybody's predictions on the game ?? This game is big for both teams a must win for both. Crestview win most likely a home game in the first week. Must win for Mineral Ridge or they are out of the playoffs. Should be a great game!!!

Skiba is a heck of a player but this will take a monumental effort on his part to overcome Crestviews defense enough to out score the Rebels. Ridge's supporting cast is very good but Crestview seems to be firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball. I would have to give Crestview an edge on both offense and defense. They seem to very balanced offensively and their defense has been brutal against league opponents. Ridge I would give an edge on special teams. Skiba is a definite threat to score any time he touches the ball. ...and of course being at Ridge weather could play a role if it rains. This should be a great game, both teams playing for week 11 position and league crown. Just as alot had predicted before the season started. Being a United fan I have to root for Crestview but if Ridge happens to pull it off they deserve the share and a week 11 appearance.

Honestly I think if both Range and Ridge win that the Rams will vault over the Raiders. It could be possible that both would make it. The current 7th seeded team has a weak oponent coming up and their schedule seemed a little weak. So even if they were to finish out at 9-1 they may not have enough pts. to hold even the 8th seed against an 8-2 Range or a 7-3 Ridge.
...and if it gets as cold as I'm hearing we won't have to worry about rain...more like snow!

I think it will be the Rebel's smothering defence that has to show up in this game if they are to win.We all know about the offence, but the defence has kept Beaver Local-Springfield-Columbiana-East Palestine-South Range to just 7 points a game.United got 19...so "D" is what wins this game..IMO.

Of course you never pick C-View. You HAVE to root for someone else to beat us, BECAUSE THE CLIPPERS CAN'T!
I can't believe that so many are picking against C-View after they have DOMINATED the league thus far. Tell me again how MR did against SR? What was that score again? What was the score against Columbiana? Crestview wins this game 35-14.

It's not about how Ridge did against South Range or Columbiana. It's about how they play against Crestview. If you were at the South Range vs. Ridge game you would have noticed that Ridge didn't play remotely close to their best ball, giving up a touchdown on a blocked punt, and opening kick return, not to mention giving up another 60-70 yd return on a kick that led to a third South Range TD. Ridge can't play like that and expect to not get the crap beat out of them by Crestview. However, if Ridge gives their A game, this is going to be a heck of a game. Ridge won't blow out Crestview, but they very well can win this game. Crestview on the other hand has a chance to blow out Ridge but they will have to play very good and Ridge will have to stumble. I think the two best players in the league will be on the field in this one in Carter Hill and Dan Skiba which will be another interesting side plot. Also Ridge has won 3 of the last 4 meetings against Crestview which is also another notable side plot.
GO RAMS!

Never said night in night out MR is better than Crestview. Im saying that if they play there best ball they have a good shot at beating Crestview. Sure 7 out of 10 times Crestview may win, Helll I will even satisfy you rebel fans and say maybe 8 or 9 out of ten times Crestview would win, however MR is still talented enough to win. And let me tell you this. The MR last year wasn't as good as they are this year and they pulled it out. All I am saying is don't take the Rams lightly because they are more than capable.

Also, if you ask my opinion, what seperates a really good team from a good team is consistancy. Obviously teams have to have talent which both do, but its the team that is able to play well consistantly, for 4 quarters, night in night out. That is what seperates a really good team from a great team in my opinion. That is why Crestview is 8-1 and Ridge is 6-3, Because Crestview plays well more consistantly then Ridge does. Ridge has to many lapses which has come back to haunt them. Watch the first half of the game against Campbell and tell me that they are not just as talented as Campbell. Watch the 2nd half and it is a different story. Crestview is obviously the better team and it is there ability to play at a high level consistantly which makes them the better team. And that may come down to coaching or the mental toughness of the kids or some other things but talent wise, I don't think you can say either one of these teams is head and shoulders above the other.
