Both teams have equal motivation to win this game (playoff game at stake), and both teams possess the talent and heart to win this game. Paper stats (PF and PA) are pretty close as well. So, who wins and why?

I see that United's McLaughlin has put up like 2300 yds thru the air and rushed for nearly 1000 yds so far this season. Does anybody know if numbers like that have ever been done before in the ITCL, the old ICL, TCL, or even the county in a 10 game season? Powell has something like 60 catches for 1200 yds. Win or lose next Friday vs Range, those numbers thru 9 games are phenominal.

After seeing both games, I still think Range is a little over rated, then again United could have lost their game with the Dogs if Ep could've cashed in the opportunities in the Red Zone! United by 6.

yeah your right, winning the icl/itcl and making the playoffs 6 times in this decade really makes them over rated. It is still of the same coaches that did win those titles and make those playoff run...Something United has never done

I don't think United considers Range overrated at all. I think they are well aware Range has played in these type games numerous times over the last decade or so and Yeagley will have them well prepared. To me this game reminds me of the Columbiana matchup. If United can have any success containing the Range running attack they should fare well. If not it will end up in a shootout with the team making the fewest mistakes winning. Personnally I think Yeagley deserves coach of the year, at least in the upper tier, for turning his program back in the right direction with an improvment of at least 5 games. ...and please enough about EP nearly beating United. It was a 30 pt win with alot of EP's yards and opportunities coming late in the game when Eagle reserves and freshman were playing. United's first team O was pulled midway thru the third quarter.

In summary - Seems as simple as both teams must stop - at least keep "in check" - the other Team's key Strengths, and whichever team does that the best should win this one. Regardless, should be a great game for the fans. Good luck to ALL the players on both teams, especially the Seniors lining up for the last time!

good defensive effort by both teams in this one. United had plenty of oppurtunities to score but give Range credit they made the stops and forced the turnovers when they needed to. The tall D-end for Range gave United's qb fits most of the game and whatever scheme Yeagley came up with to keep United's passing game under control worked for the most part. What was good to see was the play of United's linebackers and running backs. Without their stepping it up this probably would have went the other way. United will have to protect the ball better deep in opponents end if they are to have any success in week 11.
