New era in works at Lisbon By RON FIRTH, Journal Sports Editor LISBON — When playing and coaching against Lisbon, Jeremy McElroy respected the tradition of the Blue Devil football program. Now McElroy will be part of it. let's stay on topic here. this is not about United or how mediocre you people feel thay have been. as for Lisbon they will go 1-6 in league beating Springfield but they will keep getting better i feel but this year they will still be off. 2-8 beating Springfield and Wellsville is my prediction.

Springfield should be better than Lisbon. They didn't have much outside of Rose last year and he's gone.

Springfied has no one besides snyder and I don't feel he has the talent to win alone so lisbon wins in a low scoring game. is my prediction. lisbon doesent have really anything but with the schulor(sp) loss i dont think springfield will be able to do much of anything

Lets not get off topic here lol. Lisbon will def have its work cut for them this season, especially with hits due to graduation. I don't know too much about Lisbon or what they have coming back so I can't comment too much, but losing one of the best athletes, competiors, and people I have ever met in Dana Rose, they will have their hands full. Good Luck to Lisbon this upcoming season.
