Your exactly right The_Game! Two playoff calibur programs kicking off the 2010 season with a bang. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a fairly high scoring affrair, and hopefully the Clips can pull this one out.
GO CLIPPERS!

This game should identify what the Clippers have this season. Big Red Stadium---a nice place to win!

The Clippers need to run the ball!!!!
I don't understand all this pass all the time stuff....Clippers football is smash-mouth and a pass here and there!!!!
Time to think about Leetonia---they won the game against their #2 rival. Here comes #1 I hope the Clips learn to "establish" the run before they begin passing all over the field first.

Maybe they should of thought a little harder at trying to keep some of the 9 juniors that quit this year due to being screwed over.

I know nothing about some Juniors that quit. All I know is kids (and their parents) make choices they have to live with!
The team are the kids who stick it out through good times and bad times. I taught my children that if they join a team---they stick it out and make the best of it.

The 9 juniors were kids who, for the most part, have played since little clippers. why did they quit? I don't know, politics would be my guess. I know some of them busted their ass in the wieght room and other training techniques only to give up their position to younger kids who did nothing in the off season. I don't think all nine kids could be wrong.. and theres more that would quit if they're parents would let them. I'm staying out of it now, I love Columbiana with all my heart. I was born, bred and butterd here...I was a third generation clipper and my kids are fourth. I just thought the juniors story needed to be told...see-ya all and good luck this year.
ITCL WEB PAGE: Clipdog, I removed the names of the individuals as they are minors and feel that it might be in their best interest not to have their names listed. I hope you understand.

sorry to hear about the kids that had played together all those years feeling that strongly as to not be part of the team. As an outsider I think Columbiana's program and coach Spaite have the respect and envy of alot of other programs that do not enjoy near the level of success year in, year out. Spaite has always come across to me as an individual that would not tolerate interference from school administrators, parents, or school boards and coached his teams in the manner he felt gave them the best chance to compete. ...so this comes as a bit of a surprise to me.

I agree with you eaglefan, I think Spaite is well regarded by the coaches in this area for running a top notch program.

I understand your removing their names, I guess I wasn't thinking to their best intrest when I put them on here. I agree Spaite and his crew runs one of the best programs around. I just wish I knew what went wrong this year so it don't happen again.

I just thought I would ask why they quit, didn't want names.
I am also a Clipper fan. My son was a senior clipper last year, one of the big linemen.
