If by extremely smooth you mean kids already getting burned out by the endless hours of lifting and workouts, then you are exactly right. Exciting staff? I have never heard that one before. That buzz is more of concern that the program will be run into the ground than a buzz of excitement. I fear things will be real ugly this season in Tribe Country.

so what is their record going to be?
By a coach trying to instill a work ethic into a program, he's to hard on the kids. Parents are just lazy and allow their kids to be lazy. The best thing a coach ever did was Rich Wright at Beaver Local, you lift in the off season or you don't play or wont see playing time. They are a better overall program for that, we didn't have that when I was in school.
Look at the time these guys put in you think a little money they get covers their time

It seems to me that the Southern Local football program is moving along very well under the watchful eye of Coach Skrinjar. I have not heard one bad thing about the Coach from any of the kids. All the players seem to love and respect him. Maybe the guy who was glad his kid graduated and didn't have to play for Coach Skrinjar should be glad because if you don't want to work hard and be part of something as a team then he probably wouldn't like playing at Southern this yea

I think when coaches like Skinjar, or Hake at Western Reserve are high emotion coaches, it causes a bit of a polarizing effect. Some people love him, some people hate him. What is important is that he is a good teacher to the kids. For that we have to give him some time. And I think that it is for a couple of years, not just on this year.
