So, after week 4, what is everyones thoughts on the Lower Tier?
I think McDonald has shown they are the cream of the crop, with Leetonia and Western Reserve and Southern being at the top, with Wellsville being a step down from them
Heres how i think the final standings will look
1) McDonald 10-0, 7-0 2) Leetonia 8-2, 5-2 3) Western Reserve 8-2, 5-2 4) Southern 7-3, 4-3 5) Wellsville 7-3, 4-3 6) Lowellville 2-8, 2-5 7) Jackson-Milton 3-7, 1-6 8) Sebring 0-10, 0-7

Don't think Mcdonald is going undefeated. Reserve, Leetonia, or Southern will beat them.

the Devils do gotta play those three teams, but lets look at those games
Western Reserve- all that needs to be said is Reserve hasnt beaten McDonald in 20 years
Southern- These teams have played each other for 2 times, and McDonald is 2-0, including a big win against the Indians in 06 whem they went 6-4
Leetonia- 26-14 last year, but the game wasnt as close as the score looks, McDonald dominated them the whole game.
and the Devils should handle Milton, Sebring and Lowellville with no problem. but this years team is better than the 06 and 07 teams, so i dont see them losing a game this year

This is 2008. Why bring up last year, or the last 20 years for that matter. I also agree Leetonia, Southern or Western Reserve will beat McDonald. No one willgo undefeated and 3 will make the playoffs

The lower tier is packed with talented teams this year! I see 3 teams getting into the playoffs, with a tie for first place in the ITCL. I'll go ahead and say that Leetonia/WR/McD all end up with one loss beating up on each other. It's hard to see anyone going undefeated with quality games week after week! Good luck to all the lower tier teams!!

McDonald has had trouble finishing the season the past two years, but this year could be different. They still face a Western Reserve team that is able to run and throw, but has had a hard time beating McDonald. And they will play at Leetonia, who is run dominated. If they shut down Selway, which they are very capable of doing with their defense, it will difficult for the Bears to beat them. It should be a lot of fun these next few weeks!!!

mcdblue6... those are some terrible reasons and everybody but McDonald people will admit that you guys will lose at least one maybe more.. You just have to realize that everybody wants to win the league.. Nobody is going to step back and give it to you. So do not talk about the past as being a reason that you will win... Because you need to prove it on the field.
