Never too early to talk about next year!
Crestview returns: Offense 4 out of 5 on the line, mabey the best back in the league in Hill. big question at QB. could be Reynolds, (younger) Britton, or (younger) Hill.
Defense returns: all the db's, 2 lb's, most of the d-line(hopefully J.D. harris hits someone this year, instead of getting dropped like dress on prom night!)
South Range: Dawson, some good young backs, Raider qb will have to fill in the rest.

The Raiders will take a big hit to graduation losing 20 seniors. The Raiders however, have proved that they can fill these positions. QB Jack Dawson returns as do junior-to-bes Hunter Spitz (HB) and Nick Golec (FB) who had plenty of playing time in the backfield this past season. Other skill players returning on O who saw significant time include James Nell (JR- Splint End), Grant Snyder (SR- Tight End), and Jared Razo and Steve Cornich (Both SR- Wingbacks). The O-line will take a huge hit from graduation losing 4 of 5 starters. Senior Chris Gause will be the only returning starter and will look for many newcomers to step up. Jeremy Heck (SR), John Seaver (SR), and others will be in the mix to start. As for the D, the Raiders will return Dawson at either DB or LB, Razo at LB, Spitz at LB, and Gause at LB. The Raiders will have great team speed again this year (not quite Ursulines speed but they will have it) but the biggest questions will center around both the O and D lines and the kicking game.
The Raiders look poised to make another playoff run next year.

For as big as he is he should be dominating on the field. I watched every game this year and was very disapointed in him.

I think that Mineral Ridge, Lisbon, and Springfiield will all be down.
Columbiana, United, and EP will all be tough,
But South Range and Crestview will once again be have a bullseye on their backs.
I think that Cory Hill, Nick Golec, and of course Jack Dawson will all speciality players to keep an eye on.
But hey, thats just what I think. Hopefully, I will be proved wrong.

Crestview does have a problem at QB this year, Reynolds has good mobility but not a lot of in game experience. As for the younger Hill, im not sure he even got into a game last year and the ? of him starting at quarterback just blows my mind. Reynolds is the rebels best bet. The offensive line should be outstanding this year. Lanney, Richards, and Bussard are returning this year, and they're are a couple who played at alot last year like JD Harris and Nick Robinson. Defensively, the Rebels should be fairly strong again. D-line will include Harris, Bussard, Richards, possibly David Drinnon(saw him play some D-end last year). Linebackers will be good this year i feel. Robinson is the only returning starter but the younger Cervone started a few games last year and played in the majority of every game last year and looked decent. The entire secondary is returing, Leon and Reynolds are coming back at corner, the younger Britton and Hill come back as safties. The only flaw i see is at outside linebacker. The junior class is a weak point for the Rebs. With the exceptions of Gary Cervone, Adam Britton, and Aaron Bussard, they're are only a few that will play at length this year. Jesse Dew and Payton Elwonger did letter last year but they only played special teams. Who knows how they will fair once they get into the REAL game action.

As is the trend, South Range and Crestview will be the class of the league, Columbiana as well. Great coaching on all three sidelines. There's nothing in the water, all three of those guys just flat-out know how to prepare a team and work their kids in the offseason.

I agree with justafan....the coaches at S.R., Crestview, and Columbiana have been around the longest...thats probably why their programs are the most succesful
anyways my predictions are 1) South Range- they reload year in and year out, but dont expect them to go 10-0 again, even though they have one of the best quarterbacks in the state 2)Crestview- Corey Hill and a stacked line could lead them over the S.R. curse 3)East Palestine- Sharkey's second year looks to be his best behind a big line and many retuning skill players 4)Columbiana- Spaite will have them ready, but needs to find a QB fast 5) United- very shaky, need to develop fast, line is a ? mark, but could finish as high as 3rd or as low as 6th 6) Mineral Ridge- could finish as higher, but need to replace last years solid core of seniors 7)Springfield- ouch, hopefully not another 2-8 campaign 8)Lisbon- not much to say, hopefully they grow and mature under the new coach
