fball108: WR is a tricky position to make all league because most teams in the league are heavy run oriented. My top WR's would be Corey Hill from Crestview and Brandon Goist from Springfield. Other big time WR's in this league are Kenny Mazurkiewicz from Ridge, James Nell from SR, and Springfield's 2nd WR who's name escapes me. They are all fine athletes and deserve the recognition.
As far the D lineman go, I am no expert what so ever on the D-line but there some fine lineman this year. They seemed to be overshadowed this year, like most others, because the LB are year in and year out the deepest group. Leading the way on the Dline for me, is JD Harris from Crestview. Fball108 is 100% right when he said that he will be a force his senior year. He has been an animal for a couple years now and will only get better which is disgusting. Other top Dlineman in my opinion are Mike Hudak from SR, Gridiron choice of Marcus Dangelo, and Matt Dominick is from what I hear is strong as an ox. It will be fun to finally watch this young man play tonight.

i AGREE WITH KEN MAZURKIEWICZ....WAS UP TO SEE MINERAL RIDGE PLAY AND HE MADE A COUPLE OF KEY CATCHES AND THEY WERE SPECTACULAR GRABS....IF THEY THREW TO HIM MORE, HE WOULD HAVE TWICE AS MANY CATCHES...HE WILL BE A GOOD PROSPECT NEXT SEASON

Baiamonte from Ep is one of the better DE's in the league as well as TE...Powers from EP should also get mentioned for something because is is maybe the most explosive kid in the league, Also after watching tonights game, Harrison Young is a great Linebacker and could get some recognition...
as far as the reciever debate, I think Goist and Hill are locks along with powers depending on if you want to call him a reciever or a running back. And i saw that one of you had DiCello for Defensive back...he has been hurt since week 4 or 5 and didnt play much defense when he was healthy

I agree with Matt Dominick at DE, he is a disruptive force. I am a little suspicious of the Harris kid, but I beleive that he has had better games than the one's I have witnessed.
I think that the TE from South Range is the top TE I have seen this year, although he doesnt get much love in the passing game, (but we all know that South Range has so many options).
I like the Dejane (#34?) kid from Springfield, I think he should get some type of honors.
I think that Schuler is the top Qb hands down in the league, but my question would be who is the next best? It's a toss-up between Dawson(SR), Britton (CR), Phillis (UN), and Williams (COL). Thoughts?

I was at the Mineral Ridge game on Friday and I was impressed with a couple of players. Ken Mazurkiewicz is a great WR and is in possibily the best I have seen all year. They have some fine athletes all over the field. Matt Dominic was a force at DE and had a lot to due with Dawson going 1-15 in the passing game, he was constantly under pressure. As far as the big lineman they had I was not so impressed for their size. They seemed to be over matched against SR speed and strength. Don't get me wrong they are fine players and had a decent game but they were not what I expected. The back up QB was very good throwing the ball and made some tight throws. He will develop into a great QB over the next two years. Zitello ranhard and was everything I expected. A true work horse. It was interesting to see the subs that coach Leone made with him, and because of that it was almost predictable as what MR was going to run.
Back to the league selections:
1. Mazurkiewicz is a first team worthy WR 2. Zitello is still the best back in the league-but the gap is closing 3. Dominic is a first team selection at DE 4. Baiamonte (EP) is worthy of first team at DE 5. Powers will/should be considered a RB-2nd/HM in my opinion 6. Harrison Young is a second team pick at LB 7. The TE for SR is Tom Biroshack, and while he doesn't have the receiving numbers, he does catch what is thrown his way and will be rewarded as first team TE 8. Dejane I have yet see play so I will hold off on comments for now-he better not be 7 foot tall like his brother 9. Schuler is the first team QB with the orderof Dawson, Williams, Britton, Phillis. Just in my opinion.

Dylon DeJane from Springfield is a 5'11, 225 lbs sophomore tight end. The Tigers also have two pretty solid receivers in senior Jarrod Lewis, and junior Eric Lipp.

I was referring to Dejane on the defensive side at OLB/DE
I would like to see how Drewnowski does against Columbiana to determine the RB's. I know Bensinger and Zitello are shoe ins, but after that its a toss-up with plenty of deserving players.

I would not be surprised to see at least 3 SR linemen make first team. That line is just outstanding. I've watched SR a few times this year, and they are the best line I've seen in the ICL/TCL in a long time. They explode off the ball and just manhandle people.
On defense, I expect Hertel from Columbiana to garner 1st team honors. Their defense seems to be designed to funnel all plays to him. I don't know how good South Range's linebackers are individually, since they always have so many hats on the ball, but I would expect at least two members of their secondary to get at least 2nd team. I believe Issac Menick leads the ITCL in interceptions with 5, and Andrew Padach has great instincts at FS, and is a great tackler. With the loss of Chris Novak, from what I could see last night, Coach Yeagley has moved Padach from S to MLB.

I agree with achilles in that SR's line is outstanding. This might possibly be their best line ever. I believe that Kenny and Hudak are easy picks for 1st team. But, I think their outstanding defense is overshadowed by their potent offense, as they have not allowed any ITCL foes to score more than 14.
Isaac Melnick is a 1st teamer in my book, along with Williams from Columbiana, at DB
I dont believe that Cunningham and Young from EP are 1st teamers, but they could get 2nd or H.M. picks
Biamonte from EP is definetly a 1st teamer at on the D Line.

Zitello V.S Lisbon was actually 323 yards on 28 carries. With a 50 yard T.D run called back.
